“The M.A.T.C.H. program  takes a unique and holistic approach to health by not only providing access to quality care, but utilizing valuable resources in the community to address the social and economic needs of our clients.  By looking at the bigger picture, and addressing the multiple challenges our clients face, we hope to give more people the opportunity to lead healthier successful lives.  As a life long resident of this community it is truly a privilege to have a role in helping the region become a healthier place to live and work.”

"I am a proud McDowell County native. Grassroots community development has become a passion that drives me to work hard everyday for McDowell residents. Our county is so rich in natural beauty and economic opportunities. I hope to inspire people to work together for the betterment of our neighborhoods, communities, and region. The Community Engagement Project and the forums supported by the project identifies leaders, builds relationships, and allows folks to problem solve and overcome barriers to health. In my downtime, I enjoy camping and hiking with my family, reading, cooking, and yoga. "
